TEACHERS REQUIRED
Government of the Punjab, Directorate General of Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education invites online applications from eligible candidates for registration as Potential Teachers under the project titled “Establishment of Adult Literacy Centre in Punjab” (Read, Write, 4 initiative) in 36 districts of Punjab based on the following eligibility criteria:
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: –
Age:18 years to 55 years.
Gender:Male/Female/Transgender
Qualification:Minimum Matriculate (at least 50% marks) or FA/Graduate with Computer Sciences will be preferred
Domicile:Punjab
CNIC:Compulsory
Remuneration:Rs.12,500/month
How to apply
i. Candidate will visit the website of the department at https://literacy.punjab.gov.pk for registration.
il. For facilitating the registration process, Video Tutorial is available on the website of the department.
iii. Teacher will be selected for different categories of ALCs (General, Health, Agriculture, Livestock, Prison, Fisheries and Mines & Minerals)
Terms & Conditions:
i. Teacher shall be appointed purely on part time/time-bound/honorary/contract basis for a period of 06 months (not extendable), within the District, Tehsil or Union Council, where the candidate permanently resides.
Selected teacher will arrange one room of suitable size for the establishment of Adult Literacy Centre in coordination with concerned Literacy Mobilizer.
Applications must be submitted online not later than 30.11.2024 (Saturday)
iv. Applications submitted by hand or through courier/postal service will not be entertained.
Successful teachers after selection shall register a group of 25 to 30 illiterate learners (age 16 years+) along with their particulars on NFEMIS portal in coordination with the concerned Literacy Mobilizer.
NOTE:
1. It is informed that imparting literacy to illiterate people is a noble cause and therefore self-motivated Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
