Advertisement for Recruitment of Mechanic Constable (Punjab Police Motor Transport Wing)
Applications are invited from eligible male candidates domiciled in all districts of Punjab for recruitment against the vacant posts of Mechanic Constable (Scale No. 7) in the Motor Transport Wing of Punjab Police. The details and instructions are as follows:
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: 18 to 28 years.
- Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit with no disability.
- Domicile: Candidates must be domiciled in any district of Punjab and possess a valid CNIC.
- Qualification:
- Matriculation from a recognized board.
- Minimum one-year diploma in Automobile/Electrical from a recognized polytechnic institute.
- Experience: At least two years of experience in relevant fields such as petrol/diesel vehicles, motorcycles, mechanics, electricians, or welding.
Application Process:
- Download the prescribed application form from the Punjab Police website: http://punjabpolice.gov.pk.
- Submit the completed application form along with attested copies of required documents, a photograph, and a fee of Rs. 300 (non-refundable) to the office of SS Motor Transport, Punjab (Ferozepur Road, Lahore) between 26th March 2025 to 9th April 2025.
Important Instructions:
- Quotas:
- 15% for female candidates.
- 5% for minority candidates.
- 10% for ex-servicemen.
- Government Employees: Must submit their applications through proper channel (NOC required).
- Skill Test/Interview: Candidates will undergo a skill test, written exam, and interview.
- Police Family Claim: Candidates claiming under the police family quota must attach relevant documents (e.g., pension book, retirement order).
- Affidavit: Candidates must submit an affidavit stating they are not involved in any FIR or criminal case.
- Medical Examination: Selected candidates will undergo a medical examination by the Medical Board. Color-blind candidates will be disqualified.
- Document Verification: If any document is found fake or unverified, the candidate will be disqualified, and legal action will be taken.
