CRITERIA
• Have an engineering degree (16 years) in the relevant field, preferably M.Sc., with a minimum of 20 years of related experience, including 5 years’ experience at senior level, in the field of natural gas, including the transmission and distribution thereof.
• Possesses professional knowledge of technical standards, service standards and other matters connected with the regulations of natural gas pipelines including tariff regime.
• Also have a demonstrable overall knowledge of the natural gas sector including current situation in Pakistan, issues concerned with its restructuring, introducing best international practices etc.
• Maximum age should not be more than 62 years on the closing date of applications.
PAY SCALE AND FRINGE BENEFITS
MP-I Scale from the Median (In case of selection, the candidate working in Government Departments or Autonomous or Semi-Autonomous bodies will have to resign or seek retirement before joining the new assignment).
TENURE
The Member (Gas) shall be appointed for an initial term of three years and shall be eligible for reappointment for a term of four years subject to the condition of attainment of 65 years of age, whichever is earlier and other conditions of the contract.
