The Irrigation Department, Sahiwal Division – LBDC Sahiwal, invites applications on a Galla (wheat) basis for the following work charge positions for the fiscal year 2025-26, as per the sanctioned cadre:

Terms & Conditions:

Merit-Based Hiring:
Appointments will be made strictly on merit, in accordance with the directives issued by the Secretary of Irrigation (Memo No. 8/2021-1118-E/50, dated 20-01-22). -
Temporary Basis:
Hiring will be purely on a temporary basis for a maximum period of 89 days. However, the department reserves the right to extend the duration as per requirements. -
Vacancy Adjustment:
The number of vacancies is subject to approval by the competent authority and may be increased or decreased based on departmental needs. -
Wages:
Wages will be paid as per the Government of Punjab’s Schedule of Wages. -
Application Submission:
Interested candidates may submit their applications to the Divisional Office, Sahiwal Division – LBDC Sahiwal, by the 25th of each month. -
Residency Requirement:
Candidates must be residents within the jurisdiction of the Sahiwal Division Irrigation Department. -
Hiring Orders:

Work charge employees can be terminated at any time without prior notice or reason, and they will not have the right to appeal in any court or institution.
