Description:
Are you a seasoned IT professional looking for a leadership role in a prestigious organization? Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO), a leading State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) in Pakistan, is offering an exciting career opportunity for the position of Chief (Information Technology & Systems) (CITS). MEPCO supplies electricity to over 8.3 million consumers across 14 districts of Punjab and is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to lead its IT department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the CEO and steer MEPCO towards its long-term goals.
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and protocols to support business needs.
- Oversee IT operations, manage IT personnel, and ensure seamless integration of IT systems.
- Drive digital transformation, business process reengineering, and large-scale data analytics.
- Lead complex IT initiatives and manage a geographically dispersed workforce.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 16-year degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 15+ years of post-qualification experience, including 5 years in a senior-level role.
- Proven experience in ERP systems, IT governance, and digital transformation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.
Remuneration & Contract:
- Market-competitive salary package.
- Initial 3-year contract, extendable up to the age of 65 based on performance.
Eligibility:
- Maximum age: 62 years.
- Pakistani citizenship required.
