Job Description:
Education:
- Minimum 16 years of education in the field of Environmental Science, Engineering, Management, Civil, Urban Planning, or Business Administration from an HEC-recognized university.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in Operations Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, or a relevant field in well-established and renowned public/private organizations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Program Monitoring:
- Monitor the implementation of waste management programs to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
- Data Analysis:
- Gather and analyze data on waste generation, collection, recycling, and disposal to provide insights for performance improvement.
- Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on waste management metrics, compliance with regulations, and program outcomes for management and stakeholders.
- Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and waste management policies, identifying non-compliance issues and recommending corrective actions.
- Program Evaluation:
- Assess the effectiveness of waste management initiatives, conducting evaluations to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, local communities, and external partners to facilitate monitoring efforts and gather feedback on waste management practices.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks associated with waste management operations and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Training:
- Provide training and resources to staff on monitoring practices, compliance requirements, and best practices in waste management.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish quality assurance processes to ensure accurate data collection, reporting, and compliance with environmental standards.
- Policy Development:
- Contribute to the development and refinement of waste management policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.
- Technology Utilization:
- Utilize technology and data management systems to improve monitoring processes, enhance reporting accuracy, and streamline data analysis.
- Public Awareness:
- Support initiatives to raise public awareness about waste management practices, promoting community engagement in recycling and waste reduction.
- Outsourcing Monitoring:
- Monitor the operations of outsourcing of solid waste management services at the tehsil level.
- Additional Tasks:
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the CEO or Board of Directors (BOD).
