(i) Management Trainee Officer (MTO) Technical

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Documentation & Reporting:
    • Develop concept papers, technical reports, seminar/workshop reports, summaries, and policy briefs.
    • Create presentations and reports related to policy, planning, and support functions.
  2. Energy Transition & Power Planning:
    • Assist in developing models for energy transition scenarios and power planning.
    • Conduct research and studies to support document and model formulation.
  3. Data Management & Coordination:
    • Manage data logging, coordination, and internal dissemination of information.
    • Collect and update data, references, and local/global developments relevant to the field.
  4. Research & Strategy Development:
    • Support the design of technology maps and adoption strategies for informed policy development and strategic planning.
    • Provide research assistance and support for core functions on assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s (4 Years) or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics , Energy Systems Engineering, or Engineering Sciences.
    • Degree must be from an HEC-recognized or affiliated institute/university.

Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Information Technology (2 Positions)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. IT Support & Operations:
    • Provide support in software application development, system operations, and infrastructure management.
    • Collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless functionality of systems and tools.
  2. IT Planning & Strategy:
    • Assist in developing work plans, IT procurement plans, statements of work, and ICT policies, strategies, and procedures.
    • Conduct research on digitalization, emerging trends, automation tools, and their development and implementation.
  3. Application Development & Feasibility Studies:
    • Support the development and deployment of applications and solutions as per requirements.
    • Conduct R&D, feasibility studies, and analysis for projects involving application development or integration.
    • Review and evaluate software feasibility studies and detailed specifications.
  4. Documentation & Reporting:
    • Develop presentations, reports, and orientations related to IT department functions.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s (4 Years) or Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence (AI), or related fields.
    • Degree must be from an HEC-recognized or affiliated institute/university.

Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Finance (3 Positions)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis & Reporting:
    • Develop presentations, reports, and orientations related to tariffs, subsidies, circular debt reporting, and support functions.
    • Analyze financial data and support the development of financial models for decision-making.
  2. Tariff & Policy Support:
    • Assist in reviewing tariff-related motions and reconsideration requests.
    • Support the development of models for consumer-end tariffs, adjustments, circular debt, and subsidies.
  3. Research & Documentation:
    • Conduct research and studies for document and model formulation.
    • Develop concept papers, study reports, seminar/workshop reports, technical reports, summaries, and policy briefs.
  4. Data Management & Coordination:
    • Manage data logging, coordination, and internal dissemination of financial information.
    • Collect and update data, references, and local/global developments relevant to the finance sector.
  5. Strategic Planning:
    • Research and support tariff design for the power sector value chain in a global context.
    • Assist in informed policy development and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    • Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost & Management Accountant (CMA), CA Inter, ICMA Inter, ACCA, CFA, or membership in a professional accounting body.
    • Alternatively, a 4-year Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or related fields (minimum 16 years of education).
    • Degree must be from an HEC-recognized or affiliated institute/university.
    • Candidates with relevant certifications are encouraged to apply.

Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Human Resources

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Support: Assist in the full recruitment cycle, from job posting and candidate screening to interview coordination.
  • Employee Engagement: Support initiatives to boost employee morale, foster a positive workplace culture, and contribute creative ideas for team-building activities and recognition programs.
  • HR Administration: Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR documentation.
  • HR Research & Best Practices: Conduct research to identify industry best practices and recommend improvements to HR processes.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Manage HR data, maintain accurate records, and coordinate internal communication and dissemination of information.
  • Training & Development: Support the coordination of training sessions, workshops, and employee development programs.
  • Policy & Job Description Review: Provide assistance in reviewing and updating job descriptions and company policies.
  • HR Presentations & Reporting: Develop presentations, reports, and orientation materials related to HR functions and support functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s (4-year) or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with relevant specialization from an HEC-recognized/affiliated institute/university.
