The Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) Secretariat in Pakistan has announced job openings for Advisors and Assistant Advisors under Section 20 of the Establishment of the Office of Federal Tax Ombudsman Ordinance, 2000.

Advisor – 20 Positions

Locations: Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Multan, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Mianwali, Abbottabad, Sukkur, and Hyderabad.

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: Minimum 25 years of experience in handling Customs, Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Federal Excise cases in Government/Semi-Government organizations.

Assistant Advisor – 01 Position (Islamabad)

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: Minimum 20 years of experience in handling Customs, Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Federal Excise cases in Government/Semi-Government organizations.

Appointment Terms:
-
Contract Basis: Initially for 6 months (extendable based on performance).

No Fixed Salary: Appointments will be made without salary under Section 20 of the FTO Ordinance. However, performance-based rewards may be granted under Section 26(2) for exceptional services.
