Position Summary

Job Title: IT Resident Engineer
Location: Multiple enforcement stations across Punjab (all districts & tehsils)
Employment Type: Contractual (SPPP-5 Pay Scale)

Key Responsibilities

Technical Duties

  1. IT Infrastructure Management:

    • Troubleshoot hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners) and software issues.

    • Install/configure software and ensure network connectivity.

    • Maintain IT inventory and coordinate with external vendors for support.

  2. System Efficiency:

    • Optimize software/hardware configurations for operational efficiency.

    • Prepare IT status reports for management.

Administrative Duties

  1. Office Operations:

    • Manage duty rosters, official correspondence, and record-keeping.

    • Handle financial tasks (vendor payments, petty cash, procurement).

  2. Coordination:

    • Liaise with landlords, service providers (electricity, internet), and internal/external departments.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: 16-year degree in Computer Science/IT/Software Engineering or related field.

  • Experience:

    • 2 years in management services (reputable organization).

    • 1 year in public sector OR private sector (if registered with SECP/regulatory body).


Required Competencies

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in IT diagnostics, networking/subnetting, and MS Office.

    • Knowledge of financial/admin operations.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication, analytical, and drafting skills.

    • Public sector management experience is a plus.
