The Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) is recruiting for vacant positions of Constables, Lady Constables, and Driver Constables in Basic Pay Scale No. 7 with applicable allowances. The recruitment is open to domiciled candidates from the specified districts. Below are the eligibility criteria and instructions for applicants:

Eligibility for Driver Constable

(Only residents of the following districts):
Lahore, Okara, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Faisalabad, Jhang/Chiniot, Multan, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Vehari, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, and Rajanpur.

• Age: 21–30 years
• Height:
  • Male candidates: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches
  • Female candidates: Minimum 5 feet 2 inches
• Chest: Minimum 33½ x 34½ inches (for male candidates only)
• Domicile: Candidates must be domiciled in the relevant district and hold a National Identity Card.
• Education: FA/FSc or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Race:
  • Male candidates: 1.6-kilometer race in 7 minutes.
  • Female candidates: 1.6-kilometer race in 10 minutes.
• Driving License and Experience: LTV driving license and two years of experience after obtaining the license. Candidates will also be subjected to a driving test, mechanical test, and highway code test.

Eligibility for Constable and Lady Constable

(Only in the following districts):
Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Okara, Kasur, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Jhang/Chiniot, Toba Tek Singh, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Multan, Vehari, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, and Layyah.

• Age: 18–25 years
• Height:
  • Male candidates: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches
  • Female candidates: Minimum 5 feet 2 inches
• Chest: Minimum 33½ x 34½ inches (for male candidates only)
• Domicile: Candidates must be domiciled in the relevant district and hold a National Identity Card.
• Education: FA/FSc or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Race:
  • Male candidates: 1.6-kilometer race in 7 minutes.
  • Female candidates: 1.6-kilometer race in 10 minutes.
• Driving License and Experience: (Not specified for Constable/Lady Constable).

Instructions for Candidates

1. Application Form:
   • Download the prescribed form from the Punjab Police website: http://punjabpolice.gov.pk.
   • Submit the completed application form along with certified photocopies of required documents, necessary papers, and a Rs. 300 form fee at the relevant Regional Office of Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) from 17.03.2025 to 31.03.2025.
2. Recruitment Schedule:
   • Information regarding the recruitment schedule can be obtained from the Regional Office of Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP).
3. No Relaxation:
   • No relaxation will be given in height, chest, education, or age.
4. Government Employees:
   • Employees of government and semi-government institutions must submit their applications through their respective departments before the last date.
5. Reserved Quota:
   • 5% quota for minority candidates.
   • 15% quota for female candidates.
6. Selection Process:
   • Candidates will undergo:
     • Height and chest measurement
     • Race
     • Driving test (for Driver Constable only)
     • Written test
     • Interview
7. Police Family Claim:
   • Candidates claiming additional marks based on police family claims must attach relevant documents (e.g., pension book, retirement order copy) with their application.
8. Affidavit Requirement:
   • All candidates must submit an affidavit stating they are not nominated/involved/wanted in any FIR or case. Submitting a false affidavit will result in disqualification and legal action.
9. Document Verification:
   • If educational documents, domicile, national identity card, or medical certificates are found fake or unverified, the candidate’s recruitment will be canceled, and legal action will be taken.
10. Medical Examination:
    • Initially selected candidates will appear before the Medical Board after security clearance. Color-blind candidates will be disqualified.
11. Physical Measurement:
    • Only candidates with complete applications will be eligible for physical measurement.
    • Physical measurement will be held at the relevant Regional Office of Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP).
12. Expenses:
    • Candidates will not be reimbursed for any expenses incurred during the selection process.
13. Multiple Positions:
    • If a candidate qualifies for more than one position, they must choose one position before the interview and submit an affidavit.
14. Recruitment Cancellation:
    • The department reserves the right to cancel the recruitment at any stage, and this decision cannot be challenged in any court or forum.
